Ring Seal Soil Weathering Collars are used when a soil vent pipe penetrates the roof covering. The weathering collar, also often called a vent sleeve or vent flashing sleeve, sits over the joint where the vent pipe emerges from the lead slate to divert water away and onto the flashing material.
