Plump and creamy, Arborio is a versatile risotto grain, great for all of your favourite classic risotto recipes.How to prepare a classic risotto: Serves 2-3: 1 Chopped Onion 1 Crushed Garlic Clove3 tbsp Olive Oil 250g Tilda Arborio Risotto rice 1L Vegetable or Chicken Stock Knob of Butter 2-3 tbsp Grated Parmesan 100ml Dry White Wine 2 pinches Saffron Strands 1. Gently saute the chopped onion and crushed garlic clove in olive oil for 5 minutes 2. Stir in the Tilda Arborio Risotto rice then pour in 250ml of the hot vegetable or chicken stock. Add wine and saffron. Stir and simmer until absorbed. 3. Gradually stir in the additional 750ml hot stock over 15-18 minutes, allowing each amount to be absorbed. Season to taste. 4. Mix in a knob of butter and grated parmesan. 5. Serve immediately.
