A full-bodied Shiraz wine. Penfolds Bin 28 is a showcase for warm-climate Australian Shiraz - ripe, robust and generously flavoured. First made in 1959, Bin 28 is named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalima vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine was originally sourced. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with the Barossa Valley always well represented, providing a substantial proportion of the fruit for this vintage. Penfolds Bin 28 helps define the proven synergy between rich South Australian Shiraz and well-integrated American oak derived from 12 months barrel maturation. It is Penfolds oldest Bin wine. Enjoy this wine with barbecue meats, charcouterie, and strong cheeses. As with all Bin 28 wines, this wine will benefit from careful cellaring. We invite you to explore the Penfolds range and discover a success story more than 175 years old. Please drink responsibly: The UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not regularly drink more than 14 units per week
